Cancellation Policy

Aligned Horizons Inc. — Confidentiality, Booking & Refund Policy Effective: July 29, 2025 This Agreement governs your use of immigration consulting and life coaching services offered by Aligned Horizons Inc. (operating as Align Horizons Immigration or “AHI”). 1. Confidentiality AHI protects all personal, legal, and emotional information shared during services. Information is only disclosed with your consent, or when: 1a. Required by law or regulation 1b. There’s a risk of serious harm 1c. Mandated by professional ethics (RCIC or ICF) 1d. Ordered by a court or official authority Immigration and coaching files are stored securely and kept separate. Records are retained for six years, and sessions are never recorded without consent. Confidentiality continues after services end, as required by law. 2. Scope & Professional Independence 2a. Immigration Consulting: Delivered only by RCICs in good standing with the CICC. 2b. Life Coaching: Provided by ACSTH-ICF-certified coaches, focusing on mindset and transition—not legal advice. All professionals carry their own liability insurance. AHI is not responsible for the independent actions of any RCIC or Life Coach. 3. Booking & Session Terms 3a. Consultations and coaching must be booked and paid in advance. 3b. Life coaching sessions are 60 minutes; immigration consultations range from 15 to 60 minutes. 3c. Group bookings require 4 weeks’ notice and a non-refundable deposit. 3b. Late arrivals beyond 10 minutes may be marked as no-shows or shortened. 4. Rescheduling & Cancellations You may reschedule once with at least 24 hours’ notice. Late cancellations or no-shows are non-refundable. In exceptional cases (e.g. medical emergencies), credits may be granted at AHI’s discretion. 5. Refunds Fees are for professional time and expertise, not outcomes. Refunds are not automatic and must be requested in writing. Immigration Consulting: Refunds may be considered if no work has begun and cancellation is within 48 hours. Life Coaching: Refunds may be granted if no sessions have occurred and the request is made within 7 days. All approved refunds are subject to a 20% admin fee. No refunds for missed sessions, used packages, or government/third-party fees. 6. Consent & Acknowledgment By selecting “I agree,” you confirm that you understand and accept all terms above, including confidentiality, booking, refund limits, and your role in the decision-making process.
